I need to find more 100x100 icon brushes, because I have a Marie/Allelujah icon that just won't be perfect until I've found the right brush. -_- Will have to save this for my next day off unless I magically get up early enough to actually do thorough hardcore searching.
(for all of you curious, I do not ship exclusively male/male.. I also do not ship exclusively male/female. I just ship whatever it is that I damn well feel like *I do like me some Alle/Halle selfcest too though.. mmmmhmmmm good)

My Favorite Higurashi character, I has one!

Enough that I made an icon of her. I'm rather intriqued however by the way the series is going, it's not as macabre as the previous season.. this may just be a false start or it may be the light at the end of the tunnel, not too sure. Needless to say, I really like Rika too (and well all considering.. Rika was the only one who didn't do a whole lot of shitty things in the previous season, she was just the eternal victim. |

On to watch episode 3 of Higurashi no Naku Koro Ni Kai.
Also, Poland is so cute. I've been rereading strips and really, he's just as dumb as a rock but it's endearing. I bet that unless monitored, he forgets his pants all the time. He doesn't strike me as someone who thinks that pants is necessary, what with all that skirt wearing. |

Higurashi no Naka Koro Ni 1st Season = DONE!
Now on to the second season.
As macabre and somewhat gross as that series somehow is, it's a really really excellent series for the simple reason that even after 26 episodes, not a damn thing is explained. But they are clever that they do this in a way where it still remains interesting and you are still poised on the edge of your seat while you wait to see what happens next.
There was someone whom I didn't like who actually lived and breathed that series, however I picked it up because I wasn't going to let people I disliked ruin potentially good series for me because honestly? That's letting them win.
If you have a strong stomach, I'd definitely recommend this series. However the last three episodes involving Rena almost made me yark, that's saying something. (hint for those who've watched it: it involves gross crawlies..)
I have no favorite pairings for this series, and I don't really have favorite characters. They are all strong in their own right, however if I haven't picked up a favorite character now, I may never. Who knows and who can say.
And even if you are not a moe fangirl, the series takes the stereotype of moe and completely shoots it into hell. After a while you realize that they are moe.. but godawful creepy and it just isn't all that cute and attractive. This series does a good job of tricking you every single time, lulling you into a false sense of security before whacking at your brain with a dull kitchen knife. |

One day I will realize that I can't actually make anyone in my section work harder no matter how hard I try. I will also remember that I am indeed carrying the workload of at least one jack-off during the course of the night. I will remember that all of the night management adores me and my work ethic and I will think that is enough.
God I wish the other reliable co-worker was there last night, would of made the six pallets of freight to be processed MUCH easier.
But at least the backroom.. it wasn't like a deleted scene from hell. |

I come home and check the friend's list over at LJ (I am posting from Dreamwidth right now) and I see that there is two pages worth of Hetalia updates. Sheesh people, I love Hetalia like the next person, but sometimes you just need to admit to yourself that a certain fandom is way too huge for you to comfortably emmerse yourself into the community. I think when I get up, I'll search out some niche communties for LJ

I ended up some how some way dating her best friend...not to get back at her or anything, I've actually known her best friend longer then her and we just...clicked. So yeah. I don't suggest added me if you can't deal with the occasional grammar error I wasn't the top student in English class, and over all I can't spell for shit, thank you spell check for being my BFF. When I write, I'm listening to music so don't get confused if there are some random lyrics thrown in somewhere in my posts. I bitch a lot about my lack of money, my crappy job, and how my cat hates me. But other then that I'm pretty interesting if I do say so myself. So go to my page comment and add me. I need friends. Sometimes I wonder if anyone is here anymore. Seems like all my list went over to the shiny services or back to LJ. So, it is cold and lonely.
I have one requirement for friending: you must be okay with mental issues (specifically DID) and homosexuality.
Other than that...a little about:
Currently a senior in university pursuing a dual degree set in anthropology and history with a minor in international studies. Plan on studying abroad in Japan as that is the primary region of study (that, and China). Learning to read Japanese a little better...kanji is a bitch, but necessary.
Pretty eclectic with musical tastes and books.
Like movies (except major romancey things and gorefest - unless it's zombies. Heck, I could do a zombie romance with a little gorefest for their first date - they are zombies for crying out loud! Someone should totally screenplay that and pitch the idea). Pretty much a Netflix junkie.
Also enjoy television programs like Mythbusters, Ghost Hunters, Destination Truth, Dirty Jobs, random history programs, Doctor Who, Robot Chicken and Family Guy.
Things in the journal include random silliness, talk about life and school, things that are found shiny!!1!!1!, very random music and video, an occasional meme. Right now it is "OMG desktop computer died!111!1!"
If you twitter update or are a drama llama/wank addict, don't add this journal...it's annoying, really.
Is there anyone out there? Really? I would welcome zombies...as long as they don't mess the carpet. |
